Bank timings during Ramazan

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced the business (banking) and office hours during the ensuing of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.

All banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), Microfinance Banks (MFBs) and Field Offices of SBP Banking Services Corporation (SBP BSC) will observe the business (banking) hours from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm (without break) from Monday to Thursday and Saturday during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak. Their Friday business timings will be from 8.30 am to 12.00 pm (without break).

However, SBP, SBP BSC, banks, DFIs and MFBs will observe office hours from 8.30 am to 1.45 pm (without break) from Monday to Thursday and Saturday during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak. Their Friday office timings will be from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm (without break).

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has also announced that all its public dealing offices will remain closed on 1st Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.
According to its announcement here on Saturday, the day will be observed as bank holiday for deduction of Zakat and all DFIs, Microfinance banks will also remain closed.

However, all officers and staff of SBP and other DFIs and micro-finance banks will attend their office on bank holiday as normal.
